“이 지팡이는 남들이 보지 못했던 저의 혼자만의 시간을 다 지켜봤잖아요. 저에게는 친구같은 존재죠. 아마 이 친구가 없었다면 저는 혼자 그렇게 낯선 땅에서 걸어다닐 수 없었을 것 같아요. 유럽뿐 아니라 일본, 중국, 태국, 필리핀 그리고 미국까지 혼자 낯선 도시를 걸어다닐 수 있게 만들어준 굉장히 중요한 역할을 한 친구예요.”
